Use the chances of PSD2: The ndgit Ecosystem Builder

Easily manage and develop networks in cooperation with digital partners and FinTechs: the introduction to PSD2 is set, the regulatory requirements are defined by the Berlin Group and the IT departments of most European banks started their preparations for the implementation. The Ecosystem Builder is the logical reaction for financial institutions, which are keen to not only fulfilling their „duty“ but want to make use of the opportunities PSD2 offers to design Open Banking using new digital services and own FinTech ecosystems.

The NextGenPSD2 XS2A-Framework Version 1.0

On 8 February 2018, the Berlin Group published the updated specifications for the revised PSD2 Directive. This document is based on both the most recent EBA RTS version and the results of the market consultations on the previous version (0.99) of the Framework, which took place towards the end of 2017.

Bank für Sozialwirtschaft chooses the PSD2 software from NDGIT.

The Bank für Sozialwirtschaft (BFS) and the FinTech NDGIT have entered into a strategic partnership to implement the BFS digital banking strategy. The basis of this cooperation is the NDGIT Open Banking Platform which the BFS will use to implement the revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2) according to the Berlin Group standard, in order to realise future networking with digital partners and to offer its customers new, attractive FinTech services.

NDGIT qualifies for FinovateEurope 2018 with its “EcosystemBuilder”.

The Munich-based fintech NDGIT, a supplier of a standard software for efficient implementation of the PSD2 requirements for European banks, is establishing a new product line for the development of bank IT systems into a comprehensive open banking. The debut presentation of this product takes place during the FinovateEurope event from 6th to 9th March in London.

NDGIT has won the EURO FINANCE TECH Award 2017

Swiss-based Hypothekarbank Lenzburg (HBL) and the Munich-based fintech NDGIT were honoured with the EURO FINANCE TECH Award 2017. Together, the partner companies established the first open banking system in Switzerland. “NDGIT and Hypothekarbank Lenzburg have carried out truly pioneering work with this innovative concept,” said Prof Dr Paul Alpar, a member of the jury. Second and third place were awarded to the insurtech firm Clark and Quantoz respectively.

mobile.de is developing its new car loans platform with NDGIT

Germany’s biggest automotive marketplace, mobile.de, and the Munich-based FinTech, NDGIT, have agreed a strategic partnership to develop a loan platform for dealers and car buyers. The new offering has been integrated directly into the mobile.de web pages since the beginning of September and its functionality is continually being expanded. This move allows mobile.de to drastically increase its offering for car buyers and relies on NDGIT’s API-banking platform for technological implementation.

Hypothekarbank Lenzburg AG becomes the first “Banking as a Service” (BaaS) partner in Switzerland and implements the NDGIT Open Banking platform

HBL is implementing its “Banking as a Service” offer with the NDGIT Open Banking platform. They are integrated as flexible middleware on Finstar, the same bank platform developed by HBL, and opens its data and services concerning accounts, deposits or other bank processes. FinTechs and digital partners can easily and securely link to these as APIs. The NDGIT standard solution also offers compatibility with European PSD2, which is currently being adjusted to the regulatory and Europe-wide standards being developed in the market.

Smart Plug and Play banking or a complete redesign of digital investment advice? Thanks to the partnership between both industry thought leaders, an innovative business model has emerged: Banks and FinTechs can use all of the functions relating to deposits and financial investments as API technology from an interface shop and thereby develop new applications more quickly and efficiently. One of the first customers is a provider of digital infrastructures for asset managers and a deposit exchange service provider.

DvH Ventures invests in NDGIT – the API platform for banking and insurance solutions

Together with other strategic partners, Dieter von Holtzbrinck Ventures (DvH) is investing a seven-digit figure in NDGIT, the Munich technology business innovator. The venture capital fund, a joint initiative of DvH and Nord/LB, is specialised in FinTech and InsurTech investments and involved for the first time with a provider of finance architectures for banking and insurance solutions. With its API platform NDGIT paves the way for future digitisation and networking with online providers.
