NDGIT API platform wins CEE Fintech Challenge.

Munich, 28th of September 2018

Vestbee hosts what it describes as the largest online start-up challenge in Central and Eastern Europe. The NDGIT API platform has been awarded first place in this competition, prevailing over numerous competitors in three rounds of judging.

The NDGIT API platform provides the framework for efficient projects and IT architectures incorporating microservices. It has been specially developed to meet the requirements of the European financial services market. Among other things, it provides banks and insurance companies with an Open Banking platform that enables them to connect to new business models and open up data access in line with PSD2.

Growth in Europe

More than 20 European banks are already using the API platform as the standard for efficient implementation of PSD2 requirements, among other purposes. This award underlines NDGIT’s ambition to become the market-leading Open Banking platform in Europe. The company is already active in Germany, Switzerland and France, and market entry is underway in Austria and Poland. The next planned target market is the UK.

Oliver Dlugosch, CEO of NDGIT, expressed his pride at receiving the award: “We are delighted that our company and its products have once again been honoured by a European jury. In the context of the common PSD2 regulation and international Open Banking developments, this pan-European award certainly reflects the potential of NDGIT.”
